Michael Stone
Chief Executive Officer
Michael joined the Amethon team from Ericsson where he was involved in mobile telecommunications sales and marketing since the early days of GSM. In this time, he has been part of an industry evolution from simple voice through SMS, WAP, GPRS and now 3G.As part of Ericsson’s 3G marketing team in the late 90′s he was instrumental in conveying the 3G vision being realised today to both the mobile operator community and the broader IT&T industry. This led to a critical involvement in Ericsson’s successful bid for Hutchison Australia’s 3G network business followed by a Sales Management role in the Vodafone account team. His most recent responsibility was as General Manager for Ericsson’s Advise Services where he managed the consulting, design and education business areas.Michael holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Canberra and an MBA from RMIT University, Australia
Andrew Bartley
Chief Technology Officer
As CTO, Andrew Bartley is responsible for setting the company’s application architecture and promoting ongoing innovation, development and quality assurance. He was previously a Founder and Managing Director for Aimstats, a start-up provider of real time Internet server monitoring infrastructure solutions for ISPs, which he founded in 2001 and in turn was acquired by Amethon in 2007. He has deep professional experience in software development and testing and also in database design for large volumes of data in Client-server and IBM mainframe environments for financial and bank industry verticals.
Dermot Cox
VP, Marketing and Alliances
Dermot Cox oversees the company’s worldwide marketing and alliances. He joined Amethon from Consulter a niche marketing services firm, where he acted in a range of marketing and advocacy assignments for clients. He advised on projects to improve sales effectiveness such as improving marketing alignment with sales, sales audits, and new market introductions. Previously he joined C-COR Broadband, a systems integrator for cable broadband, in 2006. Before C-COR, he held key sales and market development positions with Nortel primarily focussed on wireless and wireline service providers. He received his Masters degree in marketing from the Monash University and is an Associate Fellow of the Australian Marketing Institute and Certified Practising Marketer.
Kallon Weingarten
Head of Engineering and Operations
As Vice President of Engineering, Kallon Weingarten is responsible for managing Amethon’s engineering resources and guiding the company’s support and operations activities. He joined Amethon in 2007 after initially working for Aimstats in 2004. He recieved a Bachelor degree in Applied Science with majors in Computing and Digital Technology from RMIT University in 2004.
