Roger Smeed (FAICD FAIM JP) Chairman Roger Smeed is a senior executive widely experienced and highly regarded in both the private and government sectors. He has extensive experience at Chief Executive and Company Director level both in Australia and internationally, for large and small companies and government-owned corporations. An experienced Company Director with both publicly listed and private companies, he is the Managing Director of a successful consultancy practice, providing corporate and management advice and analysis to companies, both large and small, and to Australian and international Governments and regulators. He currently serves as a non-executive Director on the Board’s of a number of Australian companies, to whom he also provides corporate, management and governance advice.

James Cleary Executive Director James is Chief Technology Officer and an executive director of Amethon. His commercial expertise and technical savvy, helps him ensure that Amethon remains an innovative leader to meet the fast-moving market demand in the mobile communications sector. Since winning a Chancellor's Scholarship to Sydney University in Australia, he has continued a track record of innovation. James and has been instrumental in creating new technologies and commercialising them in a global marketplace, and was awarded the Telecommunication Society of Australia’s Innovation Award for 2006. James brings a global perspective to the business, with his experience serving clients and partners in the US, SE Asia, the Middle East and Europe. He has also worked in Australia and Canada, bringing extensive experience providing pre-sales & systems architecture solutions with major corporations, IT integrators and telcos including Optus, Hewlett Packard, CAE, Open Telecommunications and Comindico.

Daryl Joyce Non-Executive Director Daryl has spent the last 15 years managing major accounts and developing new business for Ericsson (in Australia & abroad), during which time he has held a number of senior executive roles in Ericsson, including: Director of Business Development, Director of Marketing and Director of 3G. Daryl is a past Board member and Vice President of the Australian Mobile Telecommunications Association (AMTA). He holds a Diploma of Executive Development (IMD University of Lausanne, Switzerland).

Ian Martin Non-Executive Director Ian Martin joined Amethon Solutions in August 2007 as a non-executive director and has over 20 years of experience in the areas of telecommunications policy, regulation and research. Since 1994 Mr. Martin has worked as a telecommunications research analyst in the global investment markets with BZW, Macquarie Bank and ABN Amro. This includes periods as the independent analyst in BZW's role of adviser to the Australian Government on the Telstra privatization as well as head telecommunications analyst with ABN Amro Australia, which held the lead investment-banking role in the sale of Telstra 2. He is currently the lead Telecommunications analyst for ABN Amro in Australia.
